POKER POT ODDS
Really handy to memorise your pot odds for your typical drawing hands. Even if you are in front you need to work out how much to bet to make anyone chasing you down make a bad percentage bet. A 4% chance of a runner runner flush is normally enough to stop any sensible player from chasing this one down. More than 13 outs and almost any bet is worth calling as you are 48% and above - almost 50/50 with 2 cards to come ( i.e after the flop). Remember most flush/straigh draws become obsolete with a bet more than 20% of the pot after the turn.
