Bluff Australia hits the airwaves

Over the past two years, Bluff Australasia magazine has cemented a position as the voice of poker players throughout the country.

In conjunction with Crocmedia, Bluff Australasia is thrilled to announce that the first edition of the Bluff Poker Show will be aired on Melbourne radio station SEN 1116 AM – Australia's only 24-hour sport radio station – from this Tuesday evening / Wednesday morning. The Bluff Poker Show will air each week from midnight to 1am

Bluff Australasiaeditor-in-chief Sean Callander said the agenda for the Bluff Poker Show will be set by the audience.

“One of the great things about SEN is the passion that listeners show for all forms of sport, and we’re thrilled that poker fans will now have the opportunity to share in a new forum to talk about the game we all love,” he said.

“Although we’ll be broadcasting from Melbourne, we encourage poker fans from around the country to listen as the show will be streamed through the SEN website (see link from www.bluffaustralasia.com.au). We’ll also have a podcast of the show available, which will be perfect for players to listen to on their iPod while at the table.”

For the first three weeks, the Bluff Poker Show will report directly from the 2008 World Series of Poker at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Interviews have already been lined-up with the biggest names in poker.

It is also proposed to broadcast the show from major local events such as the APPT Grand Final in Sydney and the Aussies Millions in Melbourne.

The Bluff Poker Show will also look at what’s happening on the local scene with wraps-ups from casinos and pub poker competitions around the country. There’ll also be some great prizes and competitions (including the opportunity to play in some exclusive Bluff Poker Show tournaments).

And given some of the local poker players who’ve already put their hands up for a guest spot, it’s safe to assume there’ll be a few laughs along the way!
